Christ holds in the left hand the Holy Scriptures (the Bible). The position of the fingers of his right hand indicates that He is one of the Holy Trinity and really God and really man.
b-Abba - P 8 - Easter
Christ has been raised from the dead:
The first day of the week, very early the morning, the women came with aromatics and did not find the body of Jesus. Two resplendent angels said to them: "Why do you seek the Living among the dead ? He is not here, but he has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of man must be delivered into the hands of the sinful men, and be crucified, and on the third day rise. And they remembered his words and returning from the tomb, they told all this at the eleven and all the rest" (Lk 24,5-8).
Jesus still appeared during forty days. He spoke with his disciples about the Kingdom of God, then, lifting up his hands, He blessed them, and He parted from them and was carried up into heaven (Ascension) to be glorified by the Father (Lk 24, 50-52).
Let us read the beginning of the letter to the Romans:
"Paul [...] set apart for the gospel of God which he promised beforehand through his prophets in the holy scriptures, the gospel concerning his Son, who was descended from David according to the flesh and designated Son of God in power according to the Spirit of holiness by his resurrection from the dead, Jesus Christ our Lord" (1,1-4).
And farther:
"If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies also through his Spirit who dwells in you" (8,11).
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved (Acts 16,31), because there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4, 12).
The Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world (1John 4,14).
Jesus is the only Redeemer or Savior.
True God and true man, He saves the world
by his passion, his death on the cross and his resurrection.
God made alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our trespasses.
In Him we live (Colossians 2,13 ; Acts 17,28).
