Jesus is the incarnate Word : "the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth; we have beheld his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father".

His words and his actions are related in the four Gospels : Matthew, Mark, Luke and John (see Bible page).

John ends his Gospel by those words : "This is the disciple who is bearing witness to these things, and who has written these things; and we know that his testimony is true. But there are also many other things which Jesus did; were every one of them to be written, I suppose that the world itself could not contain the books that would be written".

Jesus' words are often in the form of parables (simple and concrete stories which also have a spiritual sense). Only the words of Jesus which are in the Bible are part of the Revelation.
